Ventilation with heat recovery
Contrary to the usual practice of building renovation, RENESCO pays particular attention to providing comfortable indoor microclimate.
The ventilation unit is particularly suitable for apartment buildings:
- The ventilation system provides 20 to 30 m3/h of fresh air for each room. According to standards and regulations it corresponds to required fresh air volume per 1-2 people.
- Exhaust air is extracted from the sanitary arrangements (WC and a bathroom) and, if it is possible, kitchens through existing ventilation shafts, which are combined in the attics.
- The extracted air from building is used to heat supplied air with heat recovery efficiency 84%.
- The ventilation equipment is certified and meet the requirements of the Passive house standard;.
- Mechanical ventilation systems with air-handling units are placed in the building attics.
- It’s activities cause air inlet and air exhaust noise in the range of 28-79 db(A).
- Air handling units are equipped with counter flow plate heat exchangers (including the humidity or enthalpy recovery units) with high heat recovery coefficients.
- Air moves through air duct systems, located on the facade of the building and incorporated into thermal insulation layers, to the attic and every room.
One-third of our renovated multifamily buildings are equipped with a mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery to organize indoor air exchange.
