A multi-apartment building in Bolderāja, at 62 Lielupes Street, has started renovation works under the ALTUM 2021–2027 Energy Efficiency Programme for multi-apartment buildings.
The building is approaching 50 years of age, having been commissioned in 1978.
The building is of the 464 series and consists of 30 apartments.
The aim of the project is to improve the energy efficiency and technical condition of the building, ensuring:
- Primary heat energy savings of 194.01 kWh/m² per year
- Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by 70.19 tonnes CO₂ equivalent per year
The total cost of the renovation works (excluding VAT) is EUR 686,982.13
The planned renovation works include:
- Insulation of a ventilated façade
- Insulation of the plinth, basement ceiling, and attic
- Renovation of the heating system
- Replacement of windows and staircase doors
- Roof repair
- Improvement of the ventilation system
- Cosmetic renovation of staircases
- Glazing of loggias
- Landscaping and improvement of the surrounding area
Through the multi-apartment building energy efficiency support programme implemented by the financial institution ALTUM, funding of EUR 686,982.13 has been granted, including a capital grant of EUR 309,141.96.
