High Quality Heat Pump Services
Project objective:
The main objective of this project is to support and accelerate the deployment of heat pump systems in existing residential buildings, with a particular focus on multi-apartment and commercial buildings.
The project promotes the use of Energy Performance Contracts and integrated quality management tools to support the planning, installation, and monitoring of heat pump systems.
Project activities:
Private and public building owners
- Optimised and wider use of modern, efficient, and renewable technologies, contributing to climate targets and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Low-investment and properly sized high-quality systems: the contractor is responsible for financing, high-quality planning, and installation of the heating system.
- Professional operation and maintenance provided by experienced specialised companies.
- Predictable costs through improved energy efficiency and transparent heating prices.
Service providers
- Access to new customer groups, including owners of existing multi-apartment and public buildings, supporting the replacement of fossil fuel heating systems with heat pumps.
- Use of innovation and modern tools to ensure and increase the implementation of high-quality heat pump systems.
- Risk reduction through standardised tools and implementation procedures for planning, installation, and optimisation during operation.
Policy makers
- Contribution to climate goals through the decarbonisation of the building sector, which represents a significant share of final energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
- Faster market uptake of efficient technologies through scalable contract models.
- Reduced pressure on public budgets and subsidy programmes, as private sector investment decreases the need for subsidies.
