During the building energy audit and technical inspection, it was determined that the overall technical condition of the building ranged from partially satisfactory to unsatisfactory. The thermal resistance of the building envelope did not comply with current building regulations, and the heating system also required renovation.
The aim of the renovation project was to provide adequate protection against weather conditions by insulating the building envelope, renovating the heating and hot water systems, and professionally maintaining the building under an Energy Performance Contract. As a result, the building’s heat energy consumption was reduced by 61%.
The following renovation works were carried out:
- Repair and insulation of façade walls and the plinth
- Insulation of attic floors and wallsInsulation of basement ceilings and walls
- Renovation of the roof covering
- Replacement of windows in common areas
- Replacement of doors in common areas
- Renovation or replacement of apartment windows
- Renovation of loggias
- Repair of entrance canopies and porches
- Renovation and insulation of staircases
- Renovation of the heating supply system
- Renovation of the hot water system
- Renovation of the ventilation system
Total renovation cost: 487 462 EUR / 110,57 EUR/m2,
partially financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
