The aim of the project was to provide the building with adequate protection against weather conditions by insulating the building envelope, upgrading the heating system, and professionally maintaining the building for 20 years under an Energy Management Contract. As a result, the building’s heat energy consumption was guaranteed to be reduced by 52%.
The following renovation works were carried out:
- Repair and insulation of façades
- Repair and insulation of the plinth
- Replacement of windows
- Replacement of doors
- Repair and replacement of roof structures and roofing
- Installation of attic thermal insulation
- Insulation of basement ceilings
- Reconstruction of entrance canopies and repair of porches
- Renovation and new finishing of staircases
- Reconstruction of the heating system
- Renovation of the ventilation system
- Installation of an energy monitoring system
- Replacement of the coal boiler with a heat pump and pellet boiler
Total renovation cost: 320 594 EUR / 120,71 EUR/m2,
partially financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
