The building was renovated to provide adequate protection against weather conditions by insulating the building envelope and upgrading the heating and hot water systems.
SIA “INVESCO” ensures building maintenance under an Energy Performance Contract for 20 years, with a targeted reduction in heat energy consumption of 54%.
The following renovation works were carried out:

- Foundation and plinth repair and insulation
- Insulation of the attic floor and the roof above apartments
- Insulation of the basement ceiling
- Renovation of the roof covering
- Replacement of windows in common areas
- Replacement of doors in common areas
- Repair or replacement of apartment windows
- Renovation of loggias
- Repair of entrance canopies and porches
- Renovation and insulation of staircases
- Renovation of the heating system with new radiators and thermostats
- Renovation of the hot water systemInstallation
- Renovation of a mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery
Total renovation costs: EUR 226 732 / EUR 99,60 per m²
part of the costs was covered by the European Regional Development Fund.
