The building is a 4-storey residential building of the 103rd series special design, commissioned in 1984.

The building contains 62 apartments with a total floor area of 3,869.40 m².

The building was renovated in 2014.

As a result of these activities, the overall technical condition of the building was improved, and the thermal resistance of the building’s external walls, attic, and basement ceiling was enhanced in accordance with the requirements of Latvian building standard.

Based on calculations, it is projected that the implementation of the listed energy efficiency measures will reduce the building’s energy consumption by up to 56%.

To improve the building’s energy efficiency, the following activities were carried out within the project:

  • Renovation and insulation of façade walls and plinth
  • Insulation of the attic floor and the roof above apartments
  • Insulation of the basement ceiling
  • Renovation of the roof covering
  • Replacement of doors in common areas
  • Repair or replacement of apartment windows
  • Repair of entrance canopies and porches
  • Renovation and insulation of staircases
  • Renovation of the heating system
  • Reconstruction of the hot water system
  • Reconstruction of the ventilation system
  • Installation of an energy monitoring system
