The building is a 4-storey large-panel residential building of the 103 series (special design project), commissioned in 1972.

It contains 36 apartments with a total building area of 2 264.10 m².

The building was renovated in 2014.

During the building energy audit and technical inspection, it was determined that the overall technical condition of the building ranged from partially satisfactory to unsatisfactory. The thermal resistance of the building envelope did not comply with current building regulations, and the heating system also required renovation.

The aim of the building renovation project was to provide adequate protection against weather conditions by insulating the building envelope, upgrading the heating system, and professionally maintaining the building under a 20-year Energy Performance Contract. As a result, the building’s heat energy consumption was reduced by 47%.

The following renovation works were carried out:

  • Additional insulation of attic floors
  • Installation of sheet metal details
  • Insulation of basement ceilings
  • Replacement of windows in common areas
  • Replacement of doors in common areas
  • Replacement of apartment windows
  • Renovation of loggias
  • Repair of entrance canopies and porchesInsulation and renovation of staircases
  • Renovation of the heating supply system
  • Reconstruction of the hot water system
  • Renovation of a ventilation system

Total renovation cost:  246 612 EUR / 108,92 EUR/m2,
