During the building energy audit and technical inspection, it was determined that the overall technical condition of the building ranged from partially satisfactory to unsatisfactory. The thermal resistance of the building envelope did not comply with current building regulations, and the heating system also required renovation.
The building was renovated to provide adequate protection against weather conditions by insulating the building envelope, upgrading the heating system, and professionally maintaining the building under a 20-year Energy Performance Contract. As a result, the building’s heat energy consumption was reduced by 51%.
The following renovation works were carried out:
- Repair and insulation of façade walls and the plinth
- Additional insulation of attic floors
- Replacement of the roof covering
- Insulation of basement ceilings
- Replacement of windows in common areas
- Replacement of doors in common areas
- Replacement of apartment windows
- Renovation of loggias
- Insulation and renovation of staircases
- Repair of entrance canopies and porches
- Renovation of the heating supply system
- Repair of the hot water systemInstallation of a mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery
Total renovation cost: 223 454 EUR / 99,01 EUR/m2,
