The energy audit and technical inspection of the building concluded that its overall technical condition is partly satisfactory to unsatisfactory. In addition, the heat loss of the building envelope does not comply with current building standards.
The objective of the project is to reduce the building’s heat energy consumption by 49% by improving protection against external weather conditions, insulating the building envelope, upgrading the heating system, and ensuring professional building management (energy management agreement with SIA “INVESCO” for a period of 20 years).
The measures listed below relate to the renovation of functionally integral building elements, as defined in the simplified renovation documentation, energy audit, and technical inspection report. These measures ensure the long-term sustainability of energy efficiency improvements and heat energy savings:
- Renovation and insulation of façades and plinth
- Insulation of attic floor
- Insulation of basement ceiling
- Installation of metal (sheet) elements
- Renovation of the heating system
- Reconstruction of the hot water system
- Installation of a mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery
- Replacement of windows and doors in common areas
- Replacement of apartment windows
- Renovation of balconies
- Renovation and insulation of staircases
- Repair of entrance structures (canopies and porches)
Total renovation costs: 206 456 EUR / 99,51 EUR/m2
