During the building energy audit and technical inspection, it was determined that the overall technical condition of the building was partially satisfactory. The thermal resistance of the building envelope did not comply with current building regulations, while the heating system required renovation and the hot water supply system required reconstruction.
The aim of the project was to provide adequate protection against weather conditions by insulating the building envelope, upgrading the heating system, reconstructing the hot water supply system, and ensuring professional building maintenance under a 20-year Energy Management Contract. As a result, a 44% reduction in heat energy consumption was achieved.
The following renovation works were carried out:

- Demolition of glass blocks in storage/stroller rooms and installation of window openings
- Replacement of windows
- Replacement of entrance doors
- Attic insulation and roof repair works
- Insulation of façade wallsInsulation of basement and first-floor ceilings

- Renovation of the building plinth
- Renovation of staircases
- Renovation of the ventilation system
- Renovation of the rainwater drainage system
- Renovation of the hot water supply system

Total renovation cost: 379 899 EUR / 141,81 EUR/m2,
